In-person consultations
We offer 60-minute in-person consultations in Westerham, Kent, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and selected Saturdays (1 per month). Here’s what happens during a consultation:
- We have a cuppa and a chat about your hair loss
- Measure your hair loss/head to determine what size topper base or wig cap you need
- Discuss your needs, lifestyle and budget
- Look at the different types of topper or wig and what might work for you
- And, most importantly, try on lots of our different pieces
You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for moral support, but please do not bring more than 2 people with you as we will not be able to accommodate them.
Booking Deposit
To reserve your consultation, we take a £25 booking deposit. This is fully redeemable against any purchase made on the day of your consultation or within 7 days afterwards. If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, your booking deposit will be refunded.
We understand that life doesn't always go to plan, particularly when dealing with health-related issues. If you're unable to attend due to unexpected circumstances, please get in touch and we'll do everything we can to help.
Styling Appointments
If you're booking an appointment for styling or fitting your existing wig or topper (rather than purchasing a new one), there is a £25 styling appointment fee. This fee covers the time spent styling, fitting and providing personalised advice, and is not redeemable against a future purchase.
Disabled access
Our consultation room is on the first floor of Wolfelands, which is a Grade II listed building, so the room is only accessible by a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, there is not a lift, so we are unable to accommodate customers who use a wheelchair. For those customers who have trouble managing stairs, they are quite shallow steps and can be used with a walking stick.

Online consultations
We also offer free online video consultations via Zoom on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are new to wearing hair, the best way to work out what you need is to come and try on some different pieces. But we understand that it is not always possible to visit us in-person. Her Hair My Head offers a free 30-minute video consultation via Zoom for anyone who needs advice on finding the right topper or wig for them.

During either an online or in-person consultation, Georgina offers advice based on her own personal experience with wigs and toppers and her expert knowledge of the many different brands and hair types available. Advice is given honestly and without prejudice. Our aim is to guide you in choosing the right piece for you, but ultimately, we let our customers choose what they believe is right for them. We never pressure customers to purchase a piece and hope that our advice allows them to make informed decisions when buying wigs or toppers.
