TOPPER CONSTRUCTION The base is made of lace, lined with a very fine silk rectangle. The ear tab area is made out of another piece of silk stitched on top of the base, with metal stays. There are two thin parallel strips of silicone running along lengthways and over the ear tabs (see close up of the underside).  The nape area has small tabs and adjustable straps with hooks for a secure fit.
