Her Hair My Head sells our own range of hand-tied Luxury wigs made from high-grade Brazillian REMY human hair.
Our hand-tied cap wigs come with either a lace parting and an ear-to-ear lace front or a silk top parting. They have a fully hand-tied back and sides, ear tabs with clips (can be removed), an extended nape, and adjustable tabs at the nape.
Hand-tied cap - lace top parting with lace front
The lace top parting area is 4x5" and is a multidirectional parting, which means you can change the parting anywhere within this area. Each hair is sewn by hand into a layer of lace, which is light and breathable to wear. Our lace wigs come with a liner, but this can be removed on request. They also come with clips on the ear tabs and a comb at the nape, which can be removed for customers with no hair. The lace front goes from ear to ear and replaces your hairline, so you are able to style the hair on this wig back off your face. This style of wig is ideal for customers who have no hair or very thin hair at the hairline, as the lace front replaces your hairline.
Knot information – We do not bleach the knots on our lace wigs, as this can shorten the lifespan of the wig, so on darker colours, the knots will be visible as small dots. These can be covered up using scar tape on the underside of the lace or by using a Knot Blurring Pen directly onto the knots.
Hand-tied cap - silk top parting
The silk top parting area is 4x4" and is a multidirectional parting, which means you can change the parting anywhere within this area. Each hair is sewn by hand into a layer of silk, which gives an extremely natural look and appears as if the hair is growing out of a scalp. Silk top wigs come with a comb that sits just behind the hairline (this can be removed for customers with no hair).
TOP TIP – silk partings look very natural, but the hair at the hairline does want to naturally fall forward. The hair can be styled so that it sits back off your face (and not in your eyes!), however the front section of the wig at the hairline is closed, meaning you cannot style the hair right back off your face like you would with a lace front. Silk wigs are also ideal if you wear a fringe.
